Focal Identity is led directly by its founder, Mwenya Chongo. That means every client works with the person actually designing their site and managing their project, not an account manager relaying instructions.

Our Story
Focal Identity began in 2019 with a simple observation: too many businesses were being quoted prices that made no sense for their budgets, or handed generic templates with no thought for how their customers behave. Since then, the work has been built mostly on WordPress, because it’s fast to build, affordable to maintain, and flexible enough to grow with a business. Alongside WordPress, the same person has built with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React, so every recommendation comes from comparing real options, not from knowing only one tool.
In parallel, our founder is training as a legal practitioner and works with a Lusaka law firm. That might seem unrelated to web design, but it shows in the work: contracts read properly before they’re signed, agreements that are actually clear, and projects scoped with the care of a field where details matter. It isn’t a legal-industry specialism. It’s a way of working that benefits every client, whatever their business.
